Data Visualization

ProDV

Process-oriented Data Visualization

Screenshot of the Process-oriented Data Visualization (ProDV) application consisting of an aerial map and surrounded by other data components and graphs.
Designed and developed the Process-oriented Data Visualization (ProDV) visual analytics framework that provides rapid customization through a visual programming environment and desktop data visualization capabilities to detect the unexpected and discover the unexpected in large, complex datasets.
Sponsor: U.S. Army Operational Test Command
  • Competencies: Data Fusion, Data Visualization, Data Analytics
  • Industries: Emergency Response, Federal Agencies, National Security

RRS

RELLIS Reservation System

Screenshot of the RELLIS Reservation System (RRS) that tracks the current operations taking place across the RELLIS campus. The screenshot displays a aerial map of the campus with reserved 50 square meter reserved regions color-coded by ground or airspace and embedded with symbology indicating various limiting conditions.
A web-based system for specifying, requesting, reserving, and approving activities occurring on the RELLIS proving and training grounds. This system enables increased visibility, management, and deconfliction of the requirements, intentions, and operations for activities from the ground, air, and radio frequency spectrum perspectives to improve the day-to-day operations and safety across the RELLIS proving and training grounds.

SDA

Special Divine Action

Image containing two screenshots Special Divine Action (SDA) application: one showing a force-directed graph of related literary works and a second showing the imagery and scanned text from a digital book.
An online catalog of literary works on miracles and divine action in which publications are aggregated into the SDA Reader and published to promote dialog on how God intervenes in the world. The user-facing site presents an easily navigable interface to the vast information available including interactive 3D connected visualizations and a searchable library with a digital book reader interface.

SDM

Study Data Manager

Screenshot of the Study Data Manager (SDM) web application in which the overall study summary information and graph is displayed at the top and very detailed graphical data capture information is displayed at the bottom for the various devices worn by the various human patients participating in the study.
A software platform for study data curation that helps reduce errors when collecting and organizing study participant data coming from multiple wearable sensors. Data is cross-validated with participant records to reduce the likelihood of common data aggregation issues like misattribution. The tool allows for both automatic retrieving of data from cloud services as well as manual upload.
