The EOTC Simulation was developed to enhance the incident management and decision making skills of emergency responders during a WMD scenario. Its intended purpose is to support a four day course on Enhanced Incident Management and Unified Command (IM/UC) as described in the National Incident Management System.
Course Description
The EOTC Simulation is a distributed, entity-based, event-oriented simulation capable of operating in either real-time or at an adjusted rate (faster or slower) based upon training needs. It is highly configurable such that each workstation included in the simulation exercise can be specifically tailored to meet the needs of a particular staff section or position with the incident command post. The EOTC Simulation is designed as a single application that includes a simulation manager module for managing the overall training exercise and the scenario editors for designing and building the training exercise.
