The Aerospace, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering Division (AMSED) is part of the Texas Center for Applied Technology, within the Texas Engineering Experiment Station (TEES), a State of Texas Agency and a member of the Texas A&M University System. The division is located at Brooks City-Base and is within major research areas and technology transfer partners in the San Antonio area. We are experts in developing and applying state-of-the-art technology and best business practices to improve readiness and the ability to sustain and maintain Government and Commercial aircraft systems regardless of age or complexity.
An interdisciplinary approach and partnering with small business and other universities is our key to success in solving real world problems for business, industries, and the public sector. Available resources include the engineering and science staff, faculties, and applied services professionals and technicians across the Texas A&M University System. As a “not-for-profit organization”, we seek to apply our expert knowledge by providing services to a widening marketplace at low cost consistent with "best value."
AMSED provides a multitude of services in production support, systems engineering, product development, and management solutions and is poised to provide this support to our customers:

Our staff is composed of engineers and analysts equipped with extensive experience and the latest tools available to provide scientific management and technical solutions in all phases of the system life cycle. Key personnel have experience providing industrial and production engineering support at the prime contractor facilities. In addition, AMSED maintains a pool of multidisciplinary subject matter experts to offer solutions for the most complex situations.
